Deidra Parrish-Williams, executive director of the NuHealth Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the NuHealth System, is pleased to announce that the NuHealth Foundation board of directors has welcomed three additional board members, Errol S. Kitt, Peter J. Klein and Jordan A. Ziegler, who have recently joined the board.

The Foundation’s sole purpose is raising visibility and funding to support Long Island’s safety net health system and the thousands of vulnerable people it serves. There is tremendous need among our patients and substantial challenges in our industry; having these three talented gentlemen join us gives us much-needed additional resources to help ensure that every NuHealth patient receives the best health care possible,” said Ms. Parrish Williams.

Jordan A. Ziegler is a senior partner of the New York law firm of Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano LLP where his practice includes Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, and Municipal Disability Retirement Pensions. He serves as chair to the law firm’s municipal disability retirement pension department. Jordan is a strong advocate for the rights of injured workers. He is disability counsel for numerous police and law enforcement associations, utility worker, and building trade unions throughout New York. He is the legal services provider to the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association legal benefit fund, General Counsel to the Suffolk County Police Columbia Association, and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, Riverhead, NY. He serves on the World Trade Center Council Advisory Commission established in conjunction with the Mount Sinai-Selikoff and the NYU/Bellevue occupational and environmental medicine clinics on Workers’ Compensation. Jordan received his law degree from The Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College in New York, and received his Bachelors Degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court and in the state and federal courts of New York and is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the New York State and American Bar Associations, the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), and the New York Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH).Mr. Ziegler is an active columnist in magazines, newsletters and journals for various utility worker, trade union, and police and law enforcement associations. He is also an active member of the Eastern Long Island Police Pipes and Drums marching band. Jordan Ziegler resides in Great Neck, NY.
